Dr. Miller received his bachelor’s degree from Columbia University in New York City in 1978. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1986, where he received special honors in the areas of Radiology, Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics.
Dr. Miller graduated from the Family Practice Residency program at the Community Hospital at Glen Cove in New York in 1989.

   We live and work in Harris County, Georgia and we know what it’s like to be in need of quality medical care in a compassionate environment.  Dr. Miller is affiliated with all of the Columbus, Georgia full service hospitals.

Who We Are

Alan Miller, M.D., FAAFP

Dr. Miller received his Bachelor's degree from Columbia University in New York City.  He graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where he received special honors in the areas of Radiology, Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics.

Dr. Miller completed residency training in Family Practice at the Community Hospital at Glen Cove in New York.  He also performed residency training in Internal Medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Miller has achieved the Degree of Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is Board Certified in Family Medicine and in Emergency Medicine.  He is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support.  Dr. Miller is also a member of the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Emergency Physicians, the American Association of Physician Specialists, and the Pine Mountain Chamber of Commerce.  He has served on the Board of Directors of the Harris County Chamber of Commerce and the Harris County Chapter of the American Cancer Society.

Dr. Miller and his wife relocated from Northport, New York to Harris County, Georgia in 1997, when he took a position as an Emergency Physician in Columbus, Georgia.

              Laura Bradley Bailey, Medical Asst., C.N.A.

Laura is a graduate of Columbus Technical College as a Patient Care Assistant and Phlebotomy Technician.  She has also received her Certification from the Georgia Nurse Aid Registry.  She has been employed by Miller Family Medicine Clinic since 2010.  Laura grew up in Harris County, GA and is a graduate of Harris County High School in Hamilton, GA.
